Just out of the shower
This morning Sue and I were downstairs after the children had gone to school. Sue went upstairs to get dressed but I could hear that she was having a shower. The shower in our bathroom runs off the central heating and the boiler in the kitchen makes a noise when hot water is being run, so I know when she's in the shower - and when she's finished. She thinks it's a happy coincidence that I always seem to arrive in the bedroom just as she's finished showering. But it isn't. And now my secret is out.
And this morning I just had to take some shots with the camera phone which happened to be at hand...

And then we went back to bed for a while. For once Sue said she wasn't in the mood for any bedroom activity. But she soon warmed to the idea. It was quite surreal, though, being in the midst of passion with children's songs blaring out from a stereo. We live next to a church which is used for a children's nursery during the mornings and on fine days the children play outside in the churchyard which adjoins our garden. When we have our bedroom window open we can hear the children playing. We just hope they can't hear us playing...
But this morning everything was drowned out by "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes" blaring out from the churchyard. Not really the music that I would choose to accompany our R&R in the bedroom.

That's too funny. y photo Sue! ;)
Ok... that is supposed to ' sek see' get it? My computer has a flippin filter on it... my 'loaner' anyway. Ugh.
Oh come on Ed. You could have gotten sexually creative to the song. Now think -"Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes." Many possibilities.
OMG, what a beautiful photo! took my breath away some. Ed, you lucky fellow! the song seems quite fitting actually... :)
Kat, haha - I wondered about the first comment, but it makes sense now! That must be really frustrating!
Rosie, I suppose there are possibilities but when you associate the song with pre-schoolers it just doesn't seem right somehow. :)
SS, thanks - I am, I know.
lmao! Hearing that song while trying to get busy would just make me laugh hysterically.
I love this picture of Sue.
Frustrating as hell Ed!
Just wanted to let you know that my blog-dress has changed, so you may want to update my link! Love your show! ;)
"Head and shoulders Knees and toes"....too funny!! Beautiful picture of our Sue. Very classic!
had me laughing my head of!
funny stuff
great photo
lovely hair Sue :)
beautiful sue...
and i had the same thought as rosie, all good spots those, head shoulders knees and toes. mm hmm. yeah they are.
Ed, it could have been worse. They could have been singing Barney songs...
Beautiful pic, and I am with rosie ... I would have thought of a creative way to use head, shoulders, knees and toes ... yum yum! :)
Such a sweet romantic pic!
And Bill and I wanna know...has she lost weight? She looks GREAT!!! (she was always pretty...we were just noticing her curves!)
Fly, thanks. It didn't exactly help the mood.
Kat, thanks for letting me know.
Chuck, thanks.
Clare, I love her hair too.
Laine, yes, they are good spots - but not to that tune!
Mossy, true!
Bellarosa, if it wasn't a pre-schooler's song maybe I would have. :)
Bex and Bill, not recently - she's the same as she's been for a while. I love her curves too!
beautiful photo!
Ah Haa,
So it is not radar after all - how disappointing.... still, your timing is never disappointing....
My hair looks really nice in black and white - I had not realised it was as long as it is in the back - and it was wet - it is shorter when it is dry as the curls bounce it up....
Thank you all for the nice things you say - of course with a photographer as talented as Ed, anyone would look good!!
That is a lovely pic of Sue, so flattering, too!
I always feel strange with childrens noises, even cartoons. Still never stopped me, ha!
